It was hot. He didn't know it could be so hot in February, but it was. Eddie had spent a lot of time alone in his room this week, but eventually he had to get out of there because it was stifling.

The cold shower he took didn't really help much, either (which he wasn't exactly helping himself since he couldn't behave in there). After that failure he pulled on the airiest boxers and t-shirt he had and laid out on the floor of the living room with only the glow of the TV for light. And still it was hot as shit.
